Access Statement

Rosalie House is a Victorian Guest House set over three floors. There is no private parking, but there is unrestricted free public parking to the front of the property

On entering the house the porch provides a doorbell to the left and a light switch. The inside door is accessed by code into the digital locking device. The first left door leads to the breakfast/dining room. There is a laminate wood floor with plenty of seating and table space, a fitted Dresser Unit for storage with additional comfortable seating to relax in the Bay Window. Next door is the owners private accommodation. Lighting for the ground,first and second floors is activated by motion sensor. The main staircase is wide with a handrail on the lefthand side and consists of 13 steps leading up to the first floor landing where the private bathroom for room 1 and bedrooms 4 and 5 are located.

On turning around from the main staircase there is a short flight of 7 steps leading to the upper first floor landing where bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are located.

On turning around again there are two seperate short flights of 10 and 7 steps which are not so wide and a bit steeper to climb. They lead to the second floor/attic part of the house where bedroom 6 is located. Care must be taken when passing the velux window in the roof, the beams are very low and a tall person may knock their head!
