Staying at The Rosalie Guest House

The location of Rosalie House appeals to guests from all over the world, Penzance in West Cornwall being one of Europe's finest holiday destinations lies on the shores of Mount's Bay, a vibrant setting, with the legendary St. Michael's Mount just offshore.

The town provides a lively destination with an annual calendar of festivals and events to suit all needs. Market Jew Street, the town's main thoroughfare with its distinctive granite terrace and the historic Chapel Street which leads down to the Harbour area. Many buildings reflecting a distinctive Regency style, fine structures especially the Market House boasting an iconic dome. The wonderful open space of the Western Promenade Road, that runs from the Jubilee Pool towards Newlyn offers a delightful seaside walk during warm Summer Evenings. Morrab Gardens offer a haven of green lawns, ponds, flowerbeds and exotic sub-tropical species. The coast and countryside around Penzance have provided inspiration for artists, writers and musicians for many years.

Your hosts can provide a friendly, relaxed place to stay with a wealth of local knowledge to enable visitors to plan and enjoy their holiday to appreciate the beauty of Cornwall.

Accommodation is a variety of comfortable twin and double rooms all furnished and decorated with care, modern walk-in shower rooms, Wi-Fi, hospitality trays, smart tv’s, and unrestricted free on-street parking. Our bright cheerful Breakfast Room located on the ground floor incorporates a comfortable seating area in the large square Bay Window.

Guests can check in from 4pm on the day of arrival and are asked to vacate their rooms by 10am on the day of departure. Luggage can be left before or after check in/out by prior arrangement.

Meander - Self-Catering Accommodation

Meander built in 2015, is a private, detached dwelling with a delightful enclosed garden with an attractive deck for alfresco dining. The sleeping configuration is a separate bedroom with a double 5’ King bedframe, then an additional foldaway 4’ bed that can be set up in the alcove of the lounge/dining room.

Meander can sleep up to:

2 x adults or

3 x adults or

2 x adults and 2 small children

Situated behind the main Rosalie Guest House via a side road next door to Minalto House on the end of the terrace it is an ideal base to provide independent living with the option that guests do not need to drive, access to public transport, restaurants, the town centre are all within walking distance.

Accommodation comprises of a separate double bedroom with a large lounge/diner, separate shower room and a well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. This private dwelling has an attractive enclosed balcony overlooking the Lariggan River, providing a very tranquil relaxing retreat.
